It will cost you around about 100 pounds to get the Basic Sea Survival Certification. After this you will meet the minimum requirements to sail on a UK Fishing Vessel.

This affords you 3 months to see if you like the Commercial Fishing Industry and see if you can see yourself enjoying it and a career path you can see yourself excelling in?

Then you must gain another 3 basic certificates within those 3 months to continue at sea. Those Certificates are each one day courses and will each cost you about 100 pounds. There are a good few choices of career path and it is a career that could take you round the world if you wanted it to!
