I am a Tanzanian citizen born and raised by a fisherman. I have been in a fishing industry my whole life but I have 5 years since I have started to sail on a international waters as a fisherman that’s make me to have 5 years of experience on fishing. I have been sailing for fishing with Taiwanese and Chinese vessels for those 5 years and it’s time to pull up my socks and tie my shoes and move my carrier into another level since i doesn’t find no more challenging job in my current job in a Taiwanese vessel

My name is Keir Day (see photo above), I am a Fishing Safety Instructor and ex- Fishing Skipper. I met and taught Said earlier this year in the Falklands and also spent some time on the vessel he was working on. I found Said to be very nice, hard working man with a great deal of fishing and Merchant Navy experience. His English is excellent and I know he is very keen to further his career. He would make a great crewman for any vessel, all he needs is a chance. If I was still at the fishing I would not hesitate to employ Said and I wish him all the very best for his future.
In the ratings below I have put 5 stars for what I have personally seen and 3 stars for those I have not, but I know that Said is qualified having reviewed most of his certification. He may need a UK Safety Awareness certificate which I am happy to teach if needs be
