Favis of Salcombe are a family owned and run Fishing Company. The vessel owned is a purpose built 18metre vivier crabber “Emma Jane.” Based out of Salcombe, South Devon during spring to autumn, then potentially Oban, Scotland during the winter months.
We have a Fishing Crew of 6 and currently operating on trips at sea of 6 days per week usually.
We operate a fully operational and strict ILO188 procedure and have a zero tolerance policy to alcohol and drugs aboard our vessel.
Self Employed Night Watchman Position.
£110 per day
Main Duties:
Standard Nightwatch, ensuring vessel and crew kept safe while asleep
Dodging to next string or area as required
Monitoring for Trawlers etc to keep gear safe and alerting vessels if needs be. Calling skipper if required
Help with cooking meals and general housekeeping of the vessel
Work as part of the team aboard the vessel and help problem solve if required.
